Here at CTS we thrive on your donations! But everything should not be donated.
Electronics and small appliances should be in working order. TV’s must be less than five years old and have their remote control. We do not have the capability or space to repair broken items.
Clothing and linens should be clean and dry, not dirty, torn or stained.
Furniture must be in working order. If it is missing parts, we can’t use it. If it was the dog or cat’s favorite sleeping spot, we cannot accept it. If the upholstery is stained or torn, we will not accept it.
Shoes, boots and slippers must be clean and not torn or worn down.
Books should be clean and dry, no moldy books or books with missing pages.
Take unexpired food to your local food bank.
Your donations help us help so many people in this community. Please continue to donate, but use discretion when doing so. CTS would rather fulfill grants than spend the money on dumpster service.
